M&E Manager

Position: M&E Manager
We are looking for an experienced M&E Manager to manage the mechanical and electrical packages on a student accommodation development in Ealing.

You will be responsible for coordinating the M&E works from design and installation through to testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site.

* Coordinate M&E works with the construction, design and fit-out teams.

* Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions.

* Manage RFIs and resolve design and coordination issues.

* Monitor M&E progress against the construction programme.

* Oversee quality inspections, benchmarks, snagging and close-out.

* Ensure works comply with relevant specifications, Building Regulations and H&S requirements.

* Manage testing and commissioning of M&E systems.

* Coordinate O&M manuals, as-built information and handover documentation.

* Report progress, risks and key issues to the Project Manager/Director.

Experience

Required:

* Previous experience as an M&E/MEP Manager on student accommodation, residential, hotel or similar projects.

* Strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge.

* Experience managing M&E subcontractors through installation and commissioning.

* Good understanding of construction sequencing and M&E coordination.

* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

* SMSTS and relevant CSCS qualification preferred
