Financial Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate financial reporting, month-end close activities, and ensuring financial information is maintained in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including Income Statement (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.

• Lead and support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Produce monthly management reports and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any variances.

• Assist with preparation of cash flow forecasts and monitor actual cash movements.

• Ensure financial records are maintained accurately within the SAP S/4
  
  HANA system.

• Support internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and explanations.

• Assist with improving financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

• Collaborate with other finance team members and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy of financial data.

• Part-qualified ACCA or significant progress toward ACCA qualification (essential).

• Proven experience preparing Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.

• Experience with month-end reporting and financial close processes.

• Experience working with SAP S/4
  
  HANA (preferred but not essential).

• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Previous experience in a financial accounting or reporting role.

• Experience working in ERP systems, particularly SAP environments.

• Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis capability.
