Working in Ealing
Ealing is one of London's most diverse and vibrant boroughs, home to residents from over 100 countries and more than 170 languages. Ealing is changing, as a place and a council. We are shifting power to communities and transforming our relationship with our residents. This reflects our shared ambition to modernise local government in a way that empowers communities and liberates our workforce.
Like all local authorities, we face the challenge of delivering high quality and efficient services to residents in a difficult financial context.
Our communities bring a rich range of cultures, experiences and perspectives, and we are committed to promoting inclusion, equity and opportunity for all children and young people.
We welcome applications from Educational Psychologists who share our commitment to celebrating diversity, challenging inequality and delivering psychologically informed practice that improves outcomes for children, young people and families.
Why Join Ealing? This is an exciting time to join Ealing Council.
We are investing in our SEND services and delivering an ambitious programme of SEND Improvement and Reform focused on inclusion, early intervention, co-production and improving outcomes for children and young people. Working in Ealing means joining a borough committed to improving outcomes across education, health and social care through strong partnership working, innovation and continuous improvement. We are proud of our diverse communities and work collaboratively with schools, families and partners to ensure children and young people receive the right support at the right time.
Educational Psychologists play a central role in this transformation. As part of our Educational Psychology Service, you will contribute not only to high-quality psychological practice but also to strategic service development across the wider SEND system, helping shape future services and improve outcomes for children, young people and families. We are proud of our schools and continue to work closely with education settings, social care, health partners and families to strengthen inclusive practice and improve outcomes across the borough.
Whether you are an experienced Educational Psychologist or a Trainee Educational Psychologist approaching qualification, Ealing offers a supportive, ambitious and forward-thinking environment in which to develop your practice and make a meaningful difference.

- Apply psychology to improve outcomes for children and young people
- Support inclusive practice and early intervention

We are seeking Educational Psychologists who are committed to inclusion, partnership working and improving outcomes for children and young people.
You will be:
- A qualified Educational Psychologist registered with the HCPC; or
