The Role
Adecco are recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority for an experienced Housing Officer to join their Housing Landlord Services team in Ealing.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality housing management services, supporting residents, and helping to maintain safe, clean and sustainable neighbourhoods. The successful candidate will manage a designated housing patch, working closely with tenants, leaseholders, internal departments and external agencies to resolve issues and improve outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a designated patch of social housing properties, taking ownership of housing management issues from initial enquiry through to resolution.
Deliver a professional, customer-focused housing management service to tenants, leaseholders and residents.
Conduct estate inspections, home visits, tenancy reviews and resident meetings.
Support vulnerable residents and make referrals to appropriate support services where required.
Manage tenancy-related casework including tenancy sign-ups, terminations, mutual exchanges, succession applications and tenancy breaches.
Work collaboratively with a range of internal and external partners including community safety teams, social care services and legal teams.
Respond to complaints, enquiries from elected members and MPs, and resident correspondence.
Support neighbourhood improvement initiatives and resident engagement activities.
Assist with building safety actions and ensure compliance with landlord responsibilities. About You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
Experience managing social housing residents.
Experience delivering excellent customer service in a housing or public sector environment.
Knowledge of housing legislation and housing management practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
The ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively under pressure. Apply
