SEN Teaching Assistant

Teach Now is excited to be recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant for a warm, community-focused primary school in Ealing. This inclusive, forward-thinking school is seeking a skilled practitioner who can make a genuine impact on the learning and wellbeing of children with additional needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Staff work closely together to ensure every child—regardless of background or ability—has the tools, support, and encouragement to thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or someone looking to develop their SEN expertise further in a supportive environment.

About the Role

In this varied and rewarding position, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs

• Use proactive strategies to manage challenging behaviour with confidence and positivity

• Help pupils develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence

• Assist with classroom routines, group work, and individual interventions

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

• Practical experience supporting SEN pupils in KS1 and/or KS2

• A calm, patient and resilient practitioner who can build trust quickly

• Strong behaviour management skills and a consistent, nurturing approach

• A team player who is adaptable, reliable and committed to inclusive practice
