Position Highlights Deliver high-quality patient care Diagnose, prevent, and treat diseases, defects, or injuries; prescribe treatments as appropriate Provide care consistent with accepted professional standards regardless of patient demographics Maintain accurate, legible, and timely medical records using CPT and ICD coding Participate in after-hours call coverage on a rotating basis Comply with standards of medical practice, managed care regulations, and Joint Commission requirements Maintain clinical skills through continuing medical education Participate in non-revenue generating activities such as committees, community outreach, teaching, and research Support quality assurance, utilization management, patient education, and patient satisfaction initiatives Assist the organization with maintaining licenses, permits, and accreditation standards

Ideal Candidate MD or DO degree from an accredited program Completion of residency in relevant specialty Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical staff privileges required Licensed to practice in South Carolina with DEA and controlled substance registration Strong communication and patient care skills
