Operator Relief; 3rd Shift

Overview

As part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Wilbert Inc offers a role focused on assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts within routine, repetitive assembly operations, using both hand and power tools and operating equipment such as jigs, dies, fixtures, punch presses, riveting machines, and drill presses.

• Cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, or assemble components to create sub‑assemblies or complete products.
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet specified tolerances and product requirements.
• Monitor quality of finished products and raw materials.
• Read simple blueprints and interpret instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Diagnose and correct minor machine malfunctions.

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role and capability to work under broad supervision.

Typical job titles include Press Operator, Machine Operator, and Maker/Packer.
