Summary:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician to join our team. The role involves utilizing an ERP system to create routes and BOM’s for components used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

Compliance: This position requires the use of technology subject to ITAR/EAR. All applicants must be U.S. persons.

• Review Product Engineering design packets
• Create routes and BOM’s in SAP
• Review dashboard for assigned tasks in Salesforce
• Process orders as needed in SAPClose out jobs when completed
• Attend meetings in person and via Teams
• Track plant metrics such as OTD and Past Due
• Track cell metrics such as Quality and/or COPQ

• Product Engineering
• Supply Chain Team
• Customer Service Representatives
• CNC Programming Team
• Shop floor operators

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints
• Competence in using calipers, micrometers, verniers, indicators and other measuring instruments
• One or more years of experience in setup and operation of CNC mills and/or lathes
• Verification of adherence to applicable quality standards
• Strong computer skills
• Background in processing machined components
• Working with multiple departments/team members

• Ability to create Part Records and Bill of Materials in SAP
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access) preferred
• At least one year of experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Ability to handle multiple roles within a team/cell format
• At least one year of shop floor processes and plant manufacturing strategy experience
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field
