We are looking for a/an Night Shift Repair Assembly Technician to join our team in United States.
Responsibilities- Clean, disassemble and inspect used pumps and sub-assemblies and prepare related reports.
- Make minor repairs to worn parts as necessary.
- Rebuild used pumps and sub-assemblies to Sulzer specifications.
- Perform all in-process quality inspections as described in the quality plans and work instructions.
- Maintain short thru-put time for re-builds / repairs.
- Visit regional customers to promote rebuild program and to pickup and deliver assemblies as necessary.
- Maintain inventory of components and assemblies associated with the re-build program.
- High School Diploma/ GED required, related two-year technical degree preferred.
- Minimum five-years experience in all aspects of the assembly of centrifugal process pumps required.
- Two-years welding and/or manual machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints with both English and Metric dimensioning required.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Office products.
