Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 2nd Shift Team Lead for stack lines. The Manufacturing Team Lead will guide Team Coordinators on assigned tasks and support the prioritization and scheduling of work. This role ensures production order deadlines are met, quality products are delivered to subsequent operations, and production processes comply with established standards.
What You’ll Be Doing- Collaborate with the production planning team to prioritize production requirements. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Enhance employee engagement by offering constructive feedback on outcomes and contributing to planning initiatives.
- Accurately process scrap tickets and provide insights to support scrap reduction efforts by analyzing causes and sources.
- Monitor hourly performance charts to deliver prompt problem-solving assistance and maintain optimal operational efficiency.
- Support maintenance teams in diagnosing equipment issues, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with engineering as necessary to sustain equipment functionality, following escalation protocols based on downtime duration.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Fundamental mathematics proficiency. - Comprehensive technical expertise relevant to the field.
Ability to delegate tasks efficiently among team members. - Strong communication skills.
Essential leadership qualities include adaptability, reliability, and autonomy. Effective verbal and written communication abilities are required. - A lead person must be capable of training and mentoring colleagues proficiently within their area of expertise.
