As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our company by delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service to our valued clients.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for industrial clients, in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, other electricians, and team members to plan and execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, panels, and other components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, offering practical solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations during all stages of work.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss project details, explain work processes, and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and advancements to enhance skills and stay current with best practices.
- Willingness to work overtime (1.5x hourly pay rate) or some holidays/weekends (premium pay) and travel to the customer site.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician, with a proven track record of successful project completions.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong work ethic and reliability.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, equipment, and technology.
- Ability to perform the duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Journeyman's Certification and 2+ years experience.
