Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for Music Teachers specializing in Piano, Violin or Voice instruction at our location in East Brunswick, NJ. Responsibilities include teaching music lessons across a variety of styles and age groups, fostering a passion for music, and helping students improve their technique and confidence.
Teachers will also incorporate music theory and ear training into lessons, guide students in preparing for performances and exams, and participate in recitals and competitions.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Music Theory and Music Education concepts
- Experience in Music Performance and proficiency in teaching Piano, Violin or Voice
- A passion for inspiring and cultivating music skills in students of all ages and levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and engaging with students and parents
- Relevant degree in Music or a related field preferred
- Prior teaching experience and familiarity with public performances, exams, and recitals are advantageous
