the township of east brunswick is accepting applications for a full-time engineering project coordinator within the department of planning & engineering. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties related to the design, coordination, and inspection of capital improvement projects. Responsibilities will include coordinating and inspecting site work for commercial and residential developments; preparing resolutions, vouchers, and bid documents for contract work;

advertising for and attending bid openings; monitoring construction progress; determining bond requirements; responding to residents’ complaints and concerns regarding grading and drainage; and related duties as assigned.

knowledge, skills, & abilities: must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in the use of autocad, word, and excel.
experience: must have experience performing fieldwork and calculations for land surveying work for municipal project designs.

education: required to have a bachelor of science in civil engineering or related degree, and an engineer in training is preferred. Recent graduates will be considered.
licensing & certification: must possess a valid nj driver’s license.
