DescriptionCME Associates is seeking a highly motivated Water/Wastewater Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. ResponsibilitiesPrepare designs, technical specifications, and construction drawings for water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities.
Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to optimize system performance and capacity.
Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, surveyors, and environmental scientists, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, including design and project management.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, Water
CAD, Sewer
GEMS).
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.
