Data Entry Coordinator – University Radiology
Join to apply for the Data Entry Coordinator role at University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ. University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The purpose of the Data Entry Coordinator (Pre-Authorization Department) is to ensure all Burks pre‑authorization requests are up to date and claims are accurately prepared for electronic submission.

Responsibilities- Contributes to team effort, performing related tasks as needed.
- Enter authorization requests received from referring providers for Burk’s clients.
- Scan all received documents into MI and shared drive.
- Input information from referring physician’s offices to Burk’s online portal to process authorization requests.
- Communicate with referring physician offices for information needed to complete authorization requests, and provide feedback on status.
- Input patient data and authorization information into MI.
- Follow up on all Burk email communications regarding status of authorizations.
- Coordinate with Central Scheduling and URG offices to confirm the ability to schedule patient exams.
- Ensure charge entry is current and up to date.
- Maintain job performance standards consistent with established metrics.
- Confirm insurance eligibility of patient and follow up as necessary.
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a professional, positive work environment.
- Be a self‑starter with strong multitasking ability.

- Consistently can be counted on to do whatever the team needs.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships throughout URG.
- 2+ years experience in data entry.
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD‑9/10 codes and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Strong multitasking ability.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
From $20/hr.
