-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Full time Mammography / X-Ray Technologist for our East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office.

Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Rotating Saturdays (with comp day off during week).

• Operate and maintain all diagnostic equipment to perform X-ray and mammography exams.
• Have capable knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed.
• Maintain knowledge of procedure protocols required to assist the radiologist in all exams.
• Maintain required number of mammograms and CME's per MQSA standards.
• Know the application and location of supply items in the department.
• May require lifting patients for proper placement onto examination table.
• Complete all mandatory URG in-service classes annually.
• Assist in training staff as needed.
• May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

We will train registered X-Ray techs who are interested in mammography that are willing to complete the 40 hour course and get their mammography certification within 12 months of date of hire.

University Radiology will reimburse for exam and certification costs.

• ARRT(R) (M) required.
• 2+ years of current experience.
• NJ State License and CPR certification required.

From $40/hr the rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0-5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
