Seaview Orthopaedic & Medical Associates in Brick, NJ is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to play a crucial role in providing top‑notch medical care to patients. Positions also available in other locations.
Daily Responsibilities- Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
- Performing point of care testing and diagnostic procedures
- Assisting with medication administration, injections, and aspirations
- Suture and staple removal
- Apply and removal of casts, braces, splints and dressings
- Venipuncture, urine collection, sanitizing and stocking of exam rooms
- Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Proficient in specimen collection, lab testing, and vaccine administration
- Ability to perform lavage, diagnostic testing, and office procedures
- Strong communication skills and CPR certification
- Experience in orthopedics or sports medicine
- Experience with ambulatory care and urgent care settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems – eClinical Works a plus
- Certifications in phlebotomy
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes
