The SAP Project & Portfolio Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and managing SAP projects across the organization, ensuring successful implementation, delivery, and alignment with business goals. This role oversees the project portfolio, prioritizes initiatives, manages budgets and resources, and drives cross‑functional collaboration with business leaders, SAP functional/technical teams, vendors, and PMO.

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Manage delivery partners, offshore teams, and cross‑functional business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall).
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, status calls, and steering committee updates.
• Prioritize initiatives based on value, complexity, and business readiness.
• Manage demand planning and resource allocation.
• Conduct portfolio health assessments, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
• Ensure alignment of SAP roadmap with enterprise strategy.
• Work closely with business executives, product owners, and functional leaders.
• Manage third‑party vendors, SI partners, and contractor resources.
• Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Build strong relationships across IT, finance, operations, supply chain, and HR.

• Drive adherence to change management, release management, and documentation standards.
• Ensure audit, security, and SOX compliance for SAP deployments.
• Oversee testing cycles: SIT, UAT, Regression, Cutover planning, Hyper‑care.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of SAP project management experience.
• Proven track record leading SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, or transformations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4
  
  HANA and related modules.
• Experience with Agile, PMP, Scrum, or SAP Activate methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple large‑scale initiatives simultaneously.
