What To ExpectTesla Collision is seeking an energetic professional with a proven track record of managing people and processes to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. As the Collision Center Manager, you will be responsible for managing the workflow and production workforce at our OEM owned Collision repair center. This position requires a strong understanding of Collision shop business processes and operations, as well as the willingness to adapt to and excel in a dynamic business environment.
You must be a strong tactical problem solver who can work in a fast-paced environment, capable of multi-tasking, and effectively leading a team to achieve business goals and objectives.
- 5-8 years of management experience in the collision industry or relevant roles in manufacturing, automotive, or customer service, plus 3-5 years vendor management expertise.
- Bachelor’s Degree, relevant Certificate from a Vocational School in Collision Repair, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading diverse field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a technology-driven environment.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in collision repair; ability to run processes using Six Sigma or Toyota Lean.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence teams to achieve business targets.
- Meticulous attention to instructions, detail-oriented, capable of self-management in limited supervision environments.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
