Compensation Package: Competitive hourly base rate of $17.00 - $21.00 per hour, uncapped commissions, and a lucrative bonus structure. GMITs earn an average annual compensation up to $45,000, depending on performance.
Role Overview: We are searching for a dynamic Spa Leader with 1–3 years of leadership experience, a self‑starter, and who excels in driving sales while fostering a positive team environment. As a General Manager in Training (GMIT), you will focus on front desk operations, client experience, and sales performance. This role prepares you for future management opportunities with a clear pathway to leading your own location.
As a General Manager in Training, you will
- Successfully achieve all performance‑based goals set by spa leadership and the company on a consistent basis, including membership conversion, booking efficiency, call conversion, and gift card sales.
- Lead the front desk team to exceed all sales and performance goals.
- Provide an exceptional experience to all guests and members, measured by our Service Level Standard scores.
- Oversee and manage daily front‑desk operations.
- Assist the General Manager in managing the day‑to‑day business.
- Train, monitor, and coach teams, including in‑the‑moment coaching.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training all new hires at the front desk.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of our service menu and educate clients on benefits of specific services and enhancements.
- Passionately promote sales, promotions, and events.
- Uphold spa cleanliness standards.
- Perform administrative functions with the General Manager, such as sales reporting, register operations, and cash handling.
Role Requirements
- Passion for people and delivering excellent service.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Occasional travel for training, conferences, or business activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fast learner with a positive attitude.
- Computer proficiency including MS Office and Google Docs/Sheets; knowledge of Zenoti or similar appointment systems is a plus.
- Strong team player able to work independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
- Critical thinking skills, including customer conflict resolution.
