Program Manager

Location:

East Brunswick and Central New Jersey

• Coordinate IDT meetings
• Directly supervise and train DSPs
• Develop and monitor staff scheduling, including finding staff coverage prior to any shift opening
• Conduct monthly fire evacuation drills and record them in the fire safety log
• Maintain and meet all DDD licensure requirements for assigned programs
• Provide training, support, transportation, and assistance for each individual to enable them to complete daily routines in a safe, healthy, productive manner
• Monitor well‑being of individuals served
• Schedule individuals' doctor appointments
• Ensure program vehicles are safe and up to date with maintenance
• Adhere to policies and procedures of APluscare
• Assume responsibility for implementation of all program documentation
• Perform other duties assigned by APluscare

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection or investigation
• Successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training
• Valid NJ Driver's License
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
