Position: Quality Assurance Manager (DDD Experience)

APluscare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Manager to support the organization's
commitment to providing high-quality services. This role plays an important part in maintaining
service excellence by ensuring that programs meet regulatory standards and internal quality
expectations.
The QA Manager helps maintain the integrity of agency operations by monitoring program
performance, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the development of quality
management practices that strengthen service delivery across the organization.

Position Overview
The QA Manager is responsible for helping maintain the overall quality of services delivered by
APluscare. This includes reviewing operational data, identifying opportunities for improvement,
conducting program reviews, and ensuring services are delivered according to established
standards and regulatory requirements.
The position works closely with program leadership to support continuous improvement,
compliance with licensing regulations, and the ongoing monitoring of quality indicators
throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities

● Monitor and support agency compliance with New Jersey Division of Developmental
Disabilities (DDD) regulations and related operational standards.

● Maintain knowledge of DDD and Department of Human Services (DHS) policies,
licensing standards, and regulatory guidance.

● Ensure that residential and program services remain compliant with DDD, DHS,
Medicaid, and other applicable federal and state regulations.

● Coordinate with regulatory agencies and state officials during investigations or reviews
involving the organization or its staff.

● Verify that programs meet licensing and accreditation requirements while maintaining
adherence to applicable laws and regulatory standards.

● Participate in the development, review, and revision of organizational policies and
procedures to support regulatory compliance and quality improvement.

● Provide regular staff training and in-service education for employees involved in
supporting individuals served by APluscare.

● Conduct routine program visits and compliance reviews of DDD-licensed sites to ensure
ongoing adherence to licensing requirements.

● Identify operational deficiencies within residential programs and work with program staff
to implement corrective actions.

● Oversee the renewal and maintenance of DDD licenses for all agency programs
requiring licensure.

● Maintain documentation and records for all licenses, certifications, and regulatory
approvals associated with APluscare programs.

● Prepare program sites for licensing reviews and assist in coordinating required
inspections.

● Assist in the development and licensing of new programs, ensuring readiness for initial
regulatory inspection.

● Conduct quality assurance reviews and surveys to maintain program integrity and
identify areas for improvement.

● Track and analyze quality indicators related to service delivery, risk management, and
regulatory compliance.

● Perform scheduled quality assurance reviews and monitoring visits for DDD-licensed
programs.

● Ensure agency programs remain compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal
regulatory standards.

● Conduct monthly compliance visits and program reviews across residential and other
service locations.

● Prepare and submit weekly quality assurance and program integrity reports to the
Executive Director.

● Identify and address program deficiencies through ongoing monitoring and collaboration
with program staff.

● Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by APluscare leadership.
Qualifications

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with
individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and
interdisciplinary teams.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

● Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and support compliance-related projects.

● Working knowledge of quality assurance practices, operational systems, and quality
management methods.

● Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
