We are seeking a highly skilled maintenance planner to join our team in Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a sufficient backlog of planned routine and shutdown work for the assigned areas.

  • Maintaining a sufficient backlog of planned routine and shutdown work for the assigned areas.
  • Participation in the management of work request and work order backlog by reviewing backlog and planning list for duplicates, grouping work orders together, and ensuring plans meet timing requirements.
  • Reviewing work requests for completeness and accuracy, ensuring work order type and maintenance craft assignments are accurately assigned.
  • Using or creating job plans lists for repetitive jobs and building job packages with identified hazards, safety information, and required documentation.
  • Continuous improvement of individual and collective job plans through soliciting feedback, understanding job delay information, and incorporating constructability and maintainability.
  • Participating in bidding processes and requisitioning for third-party services, screening work requests to determine scope, and participating in reliability-driven improvement projects.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize approved scheduling tools and methodologies to schedule non-emergency maintenance work.
  • Coordinate scheduling efforts with departmental leadership to minimize conflicts.
  • Facilitate scheduled completion of repair work and champion the maintenance workflow process.
  • Lead daily and weekly maintenance scheduling meetings and planning, scheduling, and procurement efforts for annual outages.
  • Utilize advanced scheduling tools and develop project critical paths for outages.
  • Coordinate with departments to identify proper job scope and manage scope change.
  • Lead lessons learned processes and assist in improving standardized outage processes.
