CNC Programmer Machinist

Job Description

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a new opportunity with a growing manufacturing company? Our client in East Chicago, IN is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a 1st shift, full time position with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $25.00+/hr depending on experience. PPE will be provided along with reimbursement for steel toe boots.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Determine proper speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce quality parts

• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues

• Maintain program, tooling, and production documentation

• Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections

• Utilize CAD and 3D modeling software as needed

Requirements:

• Previous CNC programming experience (MAZAK, HAAS, and Milltronics machines)

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Solid Works, and Fusion)

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Knowledge of CNC speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software (preferred)

• Work independently, and with a team

• Background check and drug test

• Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
