The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Inventory Control Specialist who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining optimized inventory levels to prevent inventory shortages and overages. The role is fast-paced and requires a high sense of urgency in order to support a lean manufacturing facility, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Track, resolve, and report stock-outs
• Assist in the tracking and improvement of inventory reports & countermeasures
• Set up new inventory locations, bins, and move items as needed
• Communicate and monitor improvement plans to meet inventory objectives
• Organize and maintain a clean warehouse following 5S practices
• Focus on continuous improvement (Kaizen) in inventory processes and procedures
• Maintain Standard Storage Procedures for every Part (PFEP)
• Assist in maintaining the Inventory Central Store

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Some warehouse/inventory experience preferred
• Willingness to be certified to operate a forklift

• Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate inventory control
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Ability to identify process improvements and proactively solve problems
• Strong communication skills in a warehouse or cross-functional environment

Where and When You’ll Work:

• This is an in-person role, located at our East Chicago, IN facility, which is ideal for those who thrive in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment.
• Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
