Braid Machine Operator
- East Granby Job Summary The Entry-Level Braid Machine Operator is responsible for operating braiding equipment used in the production of heat trace cable. This position supports the manufacturing process by loading materials, monitoring machine operation, and inspecting finished cable to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Training will be provided.
- Operate braiding machines that apply metallic braid to heat trace cable
- Load carriers/bobbins with wire (such as tinned copper or stainless steel)
- Assist with machine setup under supervision
- Monitor braid pattern and machine operation during production runs
- Inspect finished cable for visible defects such as gaps, loose…
