Overview
Service Technician II at Hobart Food Equipment and Service (an Illinois Tool Works company) with over 125 years of experience providing commercial food equipment service solutions. We have over 1,700 associates nationwide and are committed to customer service, community involvement, and ITW values:

- Work with customers to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration.
- Typically depart from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
- Meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
- Ability to work overtime and on-call as required
- Ability to attend industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
- Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance
- Climb up to 10 ft with an A-frame ladder
- Occasional roof access may be necessary
- Extensive walking (3-5 miles per day) and extensive driving (5-6 hours/day)
- Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull; move in confined spaces; operate machinery, power tools, and vehicles
- Office and customer facilities, including commercial kitchens
- Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery or dirty conditions
- Travel up to 50% of the time
- Normal business hours with occasional or extended hours as needed
- Flexibility to meet critical deadlines; extended hours may include nights and/or weekends
- Normal scheduled hours may cover early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
