Design Engineer

onsemi’s Analog Mixed Signal Group is seeking an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer to develop next-generation Self Protected High Side Driver ICs for automotive and industrial applications. This role involves designing high power, low RDSon Smart Driver products that meet the demands of complex systems.

Responsibilities:

• Drive development and verification of High Power Low RDSon High Side Driver ICs.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional and global team to achieve project goals.
• Engage in verification, documentation, and post-silicon validation processes.
• Work in a hands-on lab environment with sensitive measurement equipment and data acquisition.
• Debug circuit operations and device functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE) with 0-3 years of experience.
• Some understanding of integrated circuit design, particularly in High Power High Side MOS FET design.
• Familiarity with analog mixed-signal concepts, including device mismatch mitigation and layout parasitic elements.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, including PN-junction diodes, BiPolar Parasitics, and MOS transistors.

Skills:

• Experience with industry-standard IC design software (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, etc.).
• Knowledge of behavioral top-level modeling and mixed signal verification methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional and global team.
