Pet Care Specialist for Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Company
Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring an experienced pet care professional to provide dog walking and pet sitting services.
Qualifications- You love dogs and/or cats, enjoy the outdoors, and are active.
- Experience with dogs of various sizes and energy levels and/or experience with cats and other small animals.
- Reliable transportation, own a smartphone, work independently, and have good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Flexible schedule, desire to learn, and interested in part‑time supplemental income.
- At least 1–2 hours during at least two of the four visit time windows: morning (6‑10 am), afternoon (11‑3 pm), evening (4‑6 pm), or night (7‑9 pm).
- Preferred availability:
Monday–Friday or weekends, with flexible hours.
- Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation.
- Walking, exercising dogs; letting out for bathroom breaks; providing love and attention.
- Feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals or litter boxes.
- Leaving a note for clients after each visit so they know how the visit went.
- $9 per 15‑min visit + mileage + tips
- $10 per 30‑min visit + mileage + tips
- $10.50 per 30‑min visit + mileage + tips
- $12‑13.50 per 45‑min visit (depending on experience) + mileage + tips
- $16‑18 per hour (60‑minute visit, depending on experience) + mileage + tips
- Get paid to exercise and spend time outdoors with dogs or indoors with cats/other small animals.
- Flexibility to choose your hours, service areas, and maximum number of visits/hours per week.
- Work from your home base; take your dog to work on applicable assignments.
- Continuing education and certificate programs.
