Our client, an institution for higher learning, is seeking a dependable and reliable individual to support daily operations over multiple campus buildings. This role combines courier duties, bank deposits, mail distribution, live animal transport for the Vet Tech program, light facilities support, grounds pickup, and assistance with room setups and events. We are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter who works well independently and will support a seasoned facilities crew.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Transporting interoffice mail, bank deposits, and supplies between campuses
• Handling documents with care, accuracy and confidentiality
• Reliable with a good work ethic, being on time, dependable and be able to work without supervision
• Have good judgment, prioritize tasks, and notice what needs attention
• Be a team player, works well with others and follows tasks to completion

• Must be comfortable working with dogs, cats, and small animals
• No allergies to cat/dog dander
• Drive to area shelters to pick up and return animals
• Calean and sanitize transport crates, cages and the van after each use
• Maintain written logs documenting all cleaning, maintenance, and transports.

This is a long-term position working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with 1/2-hour lunch. May need to work weekends, on occasion for special events. Must be able pass a background check in accordance with RI regulations.
