Client Manager

TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly successful, top tier firm of chartered certified accountants with the recruitment of an experienced Client Manager. The firm is well established, respected in its niche, and based in East Grinstead. For confidentiality reasons, the firm name is being kept anonymous at this stage.

This is a client facing Client Manager position with responsibility for managing and developing a varied portfolio of clients. The portfolio is predominantly made up of self employed barristers, alongside companies, partnerships and personal tax clients.

Experience with trusts would be beneficial but is not essential.

You will be the main point of contact for your clients and will manage the portfolio largely independently, supported by an experienced wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a mixed client portfolio

Preparation of sole trade and company accounts

Preparation of self assessment tax returns

Preparation of partnership and company tax returns

Providing high quality client service and technical advice

Building strong, long term client relationships

Requirements Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified preferred, though strong QBE candidates will be considered

Ideally 7 to 10 years of experience within a general practice environment

Experience managing client relationships in practice

Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Xero would be useful but is not essential

Professional, personable and confident communicator

Able to work independently and take full ownership of a client portfolio

Located within reasonable commuting distance of East Grinstead

Benefits

Salary between £45,000 and £60,000 depending on experience

Bonus scheme of 4 percent of monthly fees billed

Paid overtime during November, December and January

Employer pension contribution of 3.5 percent
