Management Information Officer

Trafford Job Type: Full-time Hourly rate: £19.11 per hour Length of role:
Initial 3 months Join Trafford Council's Adults’ Services in the Urgent Care department as a Management Information Officer. This role is crucial for overseeing data collation, input, and recording related to the Discharge to Assess (DTA), Community Flow functions, and service provisions. If you are passionate about making a difference in the community and have a background in data management and social services, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Day-to-day of the role :
Oversee data collation, input, and recording for specific council functions. Input documents into the Adult Social Care system and maintain accurate records using relevant systems and spreadsheets. Attend time-specific meetings to ensure cohesive data management across departments. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and data flow. Monitor relevant mailboxes, addressing queries and taking appropriate actions in conjunction with the Urgent Care team.

Produce clear, understandable written and statistical reports to support decision-making processes. Provide business support for various aspects of the Urgent Care Control Room functions, including sourcing placements and recording placement options. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

NVQ 2/3 qualification or equivalent experience in a related field. GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English. 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a social services environment. Proficient in administrative tasks and familiar with GDPR and data protection regulations. Skilled in using computer systems and databases, with a strong understanding of Excel, Word, and Publisher. Ability to communicate effectively, analyse and evaluate management information, and present it in an understandable format.

Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
