Learning Support Assistant Position | Make a Difference in a Specialist School

In this role, you ll work in a dynamic school setting, providing crucial support to students aged 5 to 18. Your focus will be on helping a small class (typically 4-5 students) who have a wide range of complex needs, including autism and physical disabilities.

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to help students with their learning and daily activities.

• Collaborate with experienced teachers to deliver tailored educational and personal care plans.

• Assist in creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment where every student feels safe and understood.

• Help facilitate learning and social interaction, celebrating every small victory with your students.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children with complex needs and is a great team player. While experience is a plus, your commitment and character are what matter most.

• You are fully available to work full-time, Monday to Friday or able to build up to 5 days
  .

• You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• You are proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• You have a genuine desire to make a difference in students lives.

• A valid Enhanced DBS check (for both children and adults) is required for this role.

• A full driving license is highly recommended due to the school s location.
