HANA MM/P2P Specialist – East Grinstead, UK

We are actively hiring a SAP S/4

HANA MM/P2P Specialist for a multinational industrial project based in East Grinstead, UK. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

The role involves managing the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process within the SAP S/4

HANA environment, from demand creation to vendor payment. Key duties include configuration, implementation, and support of the SAP Materials Management module, ensuring seamless integration with Finance (FI/CO) and Sales & Distribution (SD).

• Solution Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and optimize SAP MM/P2P solutions, including master data, purchasing, inventory management, valuation, and invoice verification.
• Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Implementation & Rollout: Lead or contribute to full‑life‑cycle implementations, upgrades, and support projects using SAP Activate or Agile.
• Process Management: Manage procurement processes such as direct & indirect procurement, inter‑company purchase, stock transfer orders, subcontracting, and third‑party order processing.
• Integration: Ensure smooth integration of the MM/P2P module with other SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, PS) and external systems (SAP Ariba, Open Text VIM, legacy systems).
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare test plans and scripts, perform unit testing, functional integration testing, and support UAT and defect management.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 production support, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and change request management.
• Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain documentation and deliver user training.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP MM/P2P implementation and support.
• Full end‑to‑end SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of SAP S/4
  
  HANA MM/P2P functionalities, including Fiori apps and Flexible Workflow.
• Hands‑on configuration experience across all P2P sub‑modules (PR, PO, GR, Invoice Verification, Pricing, Release Strategies, etc.).
• Experience with data migration tools such as the Migration Cockpit.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently or within cross‑functional teams.

• SAP S/4
  
  HANA certifications are an added advantage.
