Work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, and office hours generally run between early morning and early evening, with coverage ideally around typical business hours and some flexibility. The environment is team-oriented, emphasizing collaboration among providers, centers, and programs to deliver integrated patient care. Epic is used as the electronic health record system in many settings, and training is available for clinicians without prior Epic experience.
On rare occasions, nurses may travel to another nearby office to support staffing needs. The culture is patient-centered and guided by values of excellence, honesty, collaboration, innovation, and compassionate care, and permanent employees may access comprehensive benefits, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid time off, and tuition assistance to support ongoing development.
