Field Service Engineer, CNC and PLC Controls

East Hanover, NJ (Field service across the NJ/NYC region)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, plus overtime (typically $10,000 to $20,000 more) and company vehicle

Service control systems and electronic drives across the region for a company with a 40-year reputation for quality.

Must-Haves Field service experience

Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, VFDs, and control systems

Panel wiring experience

Ability to read schematics
18-month technical certification or Associate’s degree

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good driving record for a company vehicleU.S. Citizen with clear English communication skills

Must live within commuting distance of East Hanover, NJAbility to pass a technical skills test, background check, and drug screen

What You’ll DoInstall, troubleshoot, and service control systems and electronic drives at customer sites

Diagnose issues with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor controls

Read and interpret schematics to resolve equipment faults

Perform panel wiring and system repairs

Serve as part of the regional field service team
