Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support a Department of Defense contract customer in East Hartford, CT. This is a long‑term contract opportunity offering stability, competitive pay, and the chance to support senior leadership within a secure, high‑impact environment.
$33.65/hour
Location: East Hartford, CT
Contract Length: Long‑term
Clearance Required: Active SECRET clearance
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of administrative and clerical duties with exceptional attention to detail
- Manage executive calendars, ensuring meetings are scheduled with clear agendas and proper logistics
- Screen and respond to incoming inquiries, coordinate scheduling requests, and handle communications with discretion and confidentiality
- Prepare, reconcile, and process invoices, travel arrangements, and expense reports in a timely manner
- Format and prepare presentations, reports, and documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Support special projects, ad hoc assignments, and employee onboarding activities as needed
- Develop and maintain Standard Work documentation where applicable
- Oversee seating assignments, office moves, and facility renovation activities
- Maintain office distribution lists and coordinate internal announcements
- Manage conference room scheduling and logistics
- Coordinate catering, kitchen supplies, and employee engagement activities
- Arrange on‑site and off‑site meetings, events, and catering
- Coordinate cleaning services, plant maintenance requests, and vendor relationships
- Monitor printer functionality and manage supplies
- Serve as a liaison with IT and Secure Computing Digital teams to coordinate and prioritize requests
- Provide general administrative assistance and team support as needed
- Associate degree (AA/AS), technical certificate, or post‑high school training
- 5 years of administrative support experience, including support for senior‑level executives
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work effectively across all levels of a large, complex organization
- Active SECRET clearance required
