Job Description
- Location: East Hartford, CT 06108 (Office-based)
- Duration: 11/02/2026 – 12/16/2026 (Short-term contract)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:0 AM–5:0 PM (No weekends, but overtime/evenings possible based on business needs)
Core Responsibilities
- Data & System Management: Research, analyze, and screen consumer data; accurately update information across multiple systems including the Eligibility Determination System.
- Benefits Processing: Evaluate and determine consumer eligibility for medical expenses and related programs.
- Communication: Handle professional verbal and written communication with clients, consumers, and state stakeholders (Access Health, DSS).
- Performance: Meet strict daily productivity and Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience required. Background in healthcare, eligibility determination, benefits administration, or transaction processing is preferred.
- Education: College degree preferred.
- Typing Speed: Minimum 40 Words Per Minute (WPM) required.

High attention to detail, strong data entry accuracy, analytical problem-solving, and dependable attendance/punctuality.
