Channel your drive to make a difference into shaping an organization and an industry that’s evolving fast to the future.
Pratt & Whitney’s Program Planning & Scheduling (PP&S) organization is searching for a Program Scheduler. The PP&S organization works with key program stakeholders to promote the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as a healthy, integrated management tool. The master schedule is the program’s most powerful management tool and when properly maintained, the schedule can be used to influence program management decisions and actions.
PP&S supports various programs by managing the IMS content, providing quality analysis of the product and ensuring that it meets government and company standards.
The Military Development Program Scheduler works with technical partners to ensure quality inputs and baseline integrity. They apply their knowledge in scheduling with Earned Value team members and Cost Account Managers (CAMs) on Military Engine Programs, promoting the IMS as a healthy, integrated management tool. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who understands how to effectively and independently drive timely and accurate support of the IMS.
This is based ON-SITE in East Hartford, CT.

* Evaluate schedules for IMS quality according to DCMA requirements. Maintain schedule health, making sure that the schedule is vertically and horizontally linked to perform program critical path assessments with limited oversight.
* Provide scheduling support to technical work scope owners by employing best practices to ensure timely and accurate status/forecasting of work; analyzing program plans; assist in developing sound schedule baseline changes by validating, approving, and integrating changes into existing schedules.
* Assess the variance and mitigation plans of technical experts in order to maintain the IMS as a tool to manage technical execution.
* Collaborate with Earned Value Analysts and CAMs to ensure alignment between SAP, MRP and IMS reporting systems.
* Create and update scheduling standard work.
** Qualifications You Must Have**:
* Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years prior relevant experience, OR, an advanced degree in a relevant field.
* Candidates with associate’s degree and 4+ years’ relevant experience, or, 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of 4 year degree may be considered. Relevant experience to include: time as a program Scheduler or Planner, time in program and/or project management, experience in supporting government proposals and tome in Earned Value Management. Must also be proficient in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word).
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
** Qualifications We Prefer**:
