Cyient is looking to add a Quality Notification (QN) Project Engineer to our team in East Hartford, CT. This position is responsible for the swift execution of all assigned tasks relating to the eQN process, including loading new eQNs, exporting QN data, initiating engineering tasks with delivery teams, reviewing and summarizing engineering dispositions, and closing out engineering review tasks.

An electronic quality notification (eQN) is raised when a manufactured component does not meet blueprint requirements, requiring an engineering review to determine if it still fulfills engineering and customer requirements.

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and own the assigned projects.
• Track deliverables and report regularly on project status.
• Interact with engineers and client to ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Identify potential delays in eQN process and create solutions.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with customer and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Make continuous process improvements/cost savings.
• Coordinate expedient closures of eSRI (Electronic Supplier Request Information) and provide support to disciplines as required.

• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year working experience OR Associate's Degree with 3+ years experience as a design engineer or project engineer in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience in an environment with a focus on quick turn‑around time.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel and VBA macros.
• Familiarity with SAP (a plus).
• Familiarity with Aerospace and Jet Engines (a plus).
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary group of engineers.
