• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Global Trade, Engineering, Quality, Program Management) to ensure compliance requirements—especially EAR/ITAR technical data handling rules—are fully understood and integrated into technical publication workflows.
• Perform EAR and ITAR export classification (X-Class) reviews, including logging and validating structured and unstructured data and related commodities.
• Conduct daily Global Trade releasability reviews for F135 Depot Joint Technical Data (JTD).
• Identify, document, and support resolution of gaps discovered during internal and external audits.
• Support publication schedules, data cut‑off processes, and coordination across program teams.
• Develop, maintain, and standardize performance and compliance metrics.
• Monitor evolving U.S. export regulations (EAR/ITAR) and internal policies to ensure documentation practices remain compliant.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with compliance, accuracy, and cycle-time reduction.
• Review content for inclusion of export-controlled technical data; provide guidance on redaction or restructuring when needed.
• Assist in analysis and interpretation of “technical data or not” determinations as required.

• Greater understanding of export compliance principles applied to aerospace technical data.

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Aviation Technology, Legal/Compliance Studies, or a highly technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting global trade functions, OR Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience supporting global trade functions.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• JCL2 Certification
• Experience with technical publications, structured authoring environments, or aerospace maintenance data.
• Familiarity with EAR/ITAR requirements as they relate to technical data handling, document release processes, and classification support.
• Experience supporting compliance audits and corrective action programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
