** Commercial Roofing Field Technician
** to join our team supporting several aerospace manufacturing facilities in East Hartford, CT. This is a hands-on role ideal for professionals who thrive in outdoor environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality roofing solutions.

** What you'll do*
* Install and repair commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up roofing.

Conduct roof inspections and identify areas needing repair or replacement.

Safely operate roofing tools and equipment such as welders, cutters, and harness systems.

Apply waterproofing materials and flashing details.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Lead and track completion.

Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and crew members.

Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.

Travel to various job sites as the need arises.

** What you'll need*
* + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2 years of job-related roofing experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

+ Valid Driver's License required.

+ Familiarity with roofing systems and installation techniques.

+ Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

+ Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
