Instructing athletes on the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport, and providing feedback and coaching during competitions
Motivating players to improve and develop sportsmanship
Recruiting new athletes for the team
Managing equipment and facilities to ensure safe playing conditions, and working with the athletics director to schedule facilities
Assessing player skills and assigning team positions
Representing the school in a favorable manner, and adhering to the district athletic department philosophy
Mentoring players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the game
Keeping records of athletes' and opponents' performances
Stipend - Schedule B2 – E-Sports Assistant Coaches (2 Positions) $4,515
Esports athletes playing under an organization generally live in the gaming house of the organization. These gaming houses usually provide a living space and a gaming space for the players. High school coaches should be experts on the rules, strategies, and techniques of their sport, and also know about sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety.
