Compensation/Benefits/Opportunities
:
Salary contingent on degree and years of experience, $51,421 - $104,297. Local 933, New Haven Federation of Teachers. New Haven teachers are offered a variety of leadership development opportunities including curriculum facilitator, teacher facilitator, and the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute. Additional benefits include community support, special federal/state loan forgiveness, and home buyer programs.
Certification Requirements
:
Must possess and maintain a Special Education certification as required and established by Connecticut State Statutes. Special
Education:
Comprehensive Grades K-12 Certification (165).
