CNA, Healthcare Nursing

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as monitoring and reporting changes in patient health status.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status to nursing staff
• Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning patients
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
• Document patient care activities in medical records

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Michigan
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Basic computer skills
• Physical ability to lift and move patients

• Experience working in a healthcare setting
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Experience working with elderly or disabled patients
