Technical Aide – Michigan State University College of Engineering Position Summary (Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on‑call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

MRI Technologist duties include, but are not limited to, performing MRI examinations; working with clerical staff to ensure exams are correctly ordered and meet appropriate criteria; working with nuclear isotopes and performing the required testing for compliance; working with radiologist to ensure proper information in log for reading, and additional duties as assigned.

• Working experience as an MRI Technologist

• ARRT Registration in MRI
• Current BLS Certification

• Exposure to human blood, serum, tissue and other bodily fluids; materials covered under Universal Precautions; TB risk or work within 3 feet of patients in a health care setting; wear a respirator, Covid Precautions
