• Perform machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install and adjust tooling, dies, and fixtures for various production runs.
• Calibrate and fine-tune equipment parameters to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues and minor machine malfunctions.
• Document setup procedures, parameters, and any encountered issues accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Setup Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve machine setup and operational issues.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control standards.

• Experience with PLC programming or basic automation troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design or advanced blueprint interpretation.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or preventative maintenance tasks.
