Coaching Aide – Michigan State University

MSU Athletics seeks summer camp coaching aides and volunteer coaches for the 2026 season. The role is a temporary or on‑call position assisting with the planning, instruction, promotion, and administration of a sport program. Responsibilities include conditioning of players, skill development, and play techniques. Temps may work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service between terms;

termination occurs after three (3) months or a switch to an on‑call schedule allowing up to 1,039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

• Assist in planning, instruction (coaching), promotion, and administration of a sport program.
• Support conditioning of players and skill/teaching development.
• Work on a temporary or on‑call basis during the 2026 season as described above.

• Entry level—no prior experience required.
