Are you looking for the perfect, flexible opportunity to work in a busy Urgent Care setting? HV Convenient Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a PT role - 20-24 hours/week. Preferable that applicant be available to cover shifts if called on short notice.
Office locations: FLOAT to any of our HV Convenient Care locations (Aliquippa, Calcutta, Center Township, Chippewa, Edgeworth, Ellwood City, Kennedy Township and/or Robinson.

Work hours:

Varied with rotating 12/8 hour shifts based on clinic needs; evening and weekend hours included

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

Required

High School graduate or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA), CPR Certification, Computer experience, Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Minimum of one year medical assisting experience. Proficient in venipuncture.
