About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Civil Engineer to manage construction projects from a distance. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects using digital tools and effective communication strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, regardless of your physical location.

- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and procurement to final handover, remotely.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress through site reports, virtual site inspections, and data analysis.
- Facilitate communication between site teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders via digital platforms.
- Review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and progress claims, for accuracy and compliance.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise to ensure successful project completion.
- BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering; professional registration with ECSA is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects remotely using project management software and collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and site safety protocols.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
